Hagersville Hawks-2 vs Six Nations Blackhawks-6
Hagersville Novice Hawks were on home ice against Six Nations Blackhawks. Hawks saw a lot of heavy offensive attacks by the Blackhawks. Goalie Ryerson Leenders saw a few one on one attacks, good angling of the shooter and hot hands. Defenseman Kaellum Meyers, Lucas Phibbs, Josh Hielema and Cameron Schweitzer stopped several offensive attacks, holding good positioning and made quality break out passes. Forwards back checking is developing with the players skating fast and pairing up with attackers.



Hawks big gun of the game was Owen Doolittle with two goals. Owens first goal was set up by Stephen Reidy, quick pass to a breakaway, deke and goal. Owens second goal was set up by Cameron Schweitzer with a break out pass, again, Owen had a breakaway another outstanding deke and goal. Good work to all the Hawks as they develop and get stronger each and every game.

Owen Doolittle- Scored two quality goals, showed good puck handling skills and excellent driving to the net
Kaellum Meyers- Good defensive actions, was setup properly to meet up with one on one attacks, forward to backwards skating transitions are getting better
Josh Hielema- starting to develop more consistent break out passes and aggressive corner action
