Hagersville 1 vs Burford 5
Hagersville Hawks played against Burford Coyotes on Nov 17. The Hawks skated hard all game. Coaching staff is seeing better positioning and stronger shots being made by all players. Hawks goalie Ryerson Leenders saw several good shots. Blocker, glove and pad saves were done with style. Hawks are starting to develop a good breakout play and are working on puck control.
Although we are waiting for our first win of the season, Coaching staff is very proud of the hard work and effort from each player each and every game. Connor Mendes was the solo scorer of the game assisted by Stephen Reidy and Josh Hielema.

Ryerson Leenders- Ryersons first year as goalie, he shows excellent poise and skill beyond his years, off ice practicing is noticeable as skill level increases every game
Lucas Phibbs- Solid Defense, was able to stop multiple breaks, good rushes and started the breakout with good passes
Carson Mitchell- Carson had an excellent game, fore checking and back checking was exceptional, had multiple good rushes and passes throughout the game
