Hawks vs Aylmer Flames
The Hawks faced off against Aylmer on home ice, in a fight to guarantee a spot in the semi finals. Hagersville came out strong and hungry to win. Troy Clarkson, assisted by Tyler DeMille, put the first goal on the board. The first period was fast and furious both teams working hard to control the puck in an attempt to put points on the board. The period ended 1-0 for the Hawks. 

The second period started off on a high note for the Hawks, just 30 seconds into the period Chase Bacher, assisted by Nathaneal Ellison and Katie Meyer, added a second goal to the scoreboard. Again, the period was a battle for control and ended 2-0 for the Hawks. 

The he third period was much of the same but with 5 mins left Aylmer got one past the goalie giving them their first goal. Both teams stepped it up to the very last second. The game ended 2-1 for the Hawks, securing them a spot in the semi finals. 

The whole team was awarded player of the game.
