Hawks vs Langton Leafs
The Hawks left the nest and headed to Langton for the last game of the round robin. The outcome of this game would determine the fate of who the Hawks would face in the semi finals. The Hawks were looking for a win. From the minute the puck dropped it was clear that the team had their work cut out for them. They managed to control the puck for a good portion of the first period and with 1 minute left in the first period Chase Bacher got an unassisted goal, ending the period 1-0 for the Hawks. 

In the second period the Hawks Jacob Laforme, assisted by Chase Bacher would light the board up again. Followed shortly after by the Leafs first goal of the game. This lit a fire in the Hawks and half way through the second Nate Veldstra, assisted by Tyler DeMille and Troy Clarkson, hit the net giving the team their third goal.  Three minutes later Cole Haviland, assisted by Ethan Fess and Chase Bacher scored another goal for the team. With two minutes left in the second Langton came back and scored their second goal ending the period 4-2. 

With th the point spread narrowing the third period began. The third period was a bitter battle to the end. With minutes left Langton pulled their goalie in an attempt to snag a goal but they were no challenge for the defensive team. The period ended 4-2 for the Hawks. 

Defensman Ethan Held was awarded player of the game.
