B Division Semi Final vs Paris
The Hawks ended the round robin in first place for the Southern Counties Peewee B Division giving them home ice advantage for the semi final game. The Hawks faced off against the Paris Wolf Pack for a spot in the final game. The game started off fast and furious. At the 4 minute mark Dustin McKeen was awarded a penalty shot, and the crowd went silent. He made his way down the ice with grace and composure, and with the flick of his wrists, the puck met the net scoring the Hawks first goal.

Just as the period was about to end Paris came back and tied the game up 1-1 ending the first.

The second period would see Cole Haviland, assisted by Dustin McKeen and Troy Clarkson, score the Hawks second goal. Again Paris came back with a goal to tie it up. But with 3 seconds on the clock, Dustin Mckeen, assisted by Ryan Dykstra and Justin Wenzowski, score another goal ending the period 3-2 for the Hawks.

Early in the third period, we saw defenseman Ethan Fees push hard to the net, and with an assist by Keaton Garvie Ethan scored the Hawks forth goal. The game became faster and rougher as the clock counted down but Paris was not able to get another puck past the goalie and the Hawks won 4-2.

Forward Dustin McKeen was awarded player of the game.

The Hawks will be playing against the Port Dover Pirates this weekend in an effort to bring home the banner. Work hard, work as a team, have fun and know you have it in you to go as far as you want!! Go Hawks Go!!
