The Bantams Reps bounced back from a challenging loss in Plattsville to have a good performance at home on Monday, February 8th.  The visitors from Waterford were denied success at the net by goalie Bradley Verral.

Meanwhile Hagersville’s offense got things started in the first with a late period goal by Cole Campbell.  Cole contributed in the second as he assisted on the next goal that came off the stick of Brody Smith.  As the middle frame ended, Braden Bond further cushioned the lead with a solo shot that gave the Hawks a 3-0 win.

It was a rare Saturday morning start for the Bantams on February 13th as they faced off against Tavistock.  The home team came out fast with two early goals but Hagersville got on the board later in the first with goals from Jade Bacher and then Cole Campbell.  Tavistock added two more before the period ended.

Penalties became the issue in the second enabling two more goals from the home side.  The Hagersville bench worked hard in the third and added to their own tally as Brody Smith shot for a rebound that Winn Cooper put away.  Cole Logan worked hard in the offensive zone to earn two more goals for the Hawks with Brody claiming another assist.  Hagersville battled fatigue but could not keep up with the Tavistock offense that doubled the Bantams effort in a high scoring game.

The following evening, Sunday, February 14th, Hagersville hosted Ayr.  The Hawks came into the game with a short bench that worked hard against a fast team with lots of offense.  Bradley Verral was busy in net defending most of the almost forty shots he faced.  Hagersville struggled to get through Ayr’s defense but Brody Smith was able to make a highlight reel shot to give the Hawks their only goal, assisted by Cole Logan.  Midway through the playoffs, Hagersville is in the middle of the pack with plenty of games remaining to stay in position for a spot in the semi-finals.
