Hawks playoffs
The Hawks ended their regular season a couple weekends ago with a very hard fought tie with Stoney Creek. Reese Simon scored her first goal of the season late in the third period with a good effort in front of the net before beating the goalie with a hard shot and our defence held strong the last couple minutes in preserving a 1-1 tie.
The coaches are very proud of how hard the kids skated all season. They gave a great effort every game this year and had lots of fun so far even though most games were against kids much bigger and older. We can see a big improvement in many of the kids and appreciate their effort and smiling faces. We would also like to thank all the fans that have come out all year to support us. Next up for the Hawks is our playoffs in the "B" pool where we will be facing off against Cayuga and Stoney Creek. Our games against these teams have been very close all season and we are looking forward to some more excitement. Our first game is this Saturday afternoon and we hope to see you all there cheering even louder. I would also like to apologize for not having any news articles lately I have been pretty busy getting these kids ready for their playoff run ( haha hope you believe me).
