Hawks vs. Six Nations
The Hawks were back on the ice Wednesday to face Six Nations in the hawks nest. The kids were skating hard right from the opening face off. The Hawks applied constant pressure in the offensive zone and had a few chances to score but were unable to get the early lead. The Hawks strong fore check continued into the second and both teams were skating and playing a hard game. Six Nations opened the scoring midway through the second but the Hawks answered right back when Owen jumped on a rebound and beat the goalie with a hard shot.

The Hawks added a second goal late in the second when Reid's shot took a couple friendly bounces and found its way to the back of the net. The Hawks never let up going into the third and Liam gave the Hawks a much needed third goal after he beat the defense to the puck and went in alone on the goalie and scored with a shot to the stick side. Six Nations added some late pressure but the Hawks defense and back checking held strong. A great effort was given by all the kids and the coaches were very impressed with the effort and passing that was shown as the Hawks won 3-1. Thanks to all the fans who came out to cheer us on. GO HAWKS GO.
