November 11th in Caledonia
The morning of November 11th the Hagersville CGC Hawks travelled to Caledonia to play the Caledonia 3 team.  The Hawks went in knowing this was going to be tough as the last showdown between these two rivals ended with Caledonia on top 5-2.

Hagersville marked the scoreboard first, in the first, when Drew Gibbons found the puck on the end of his stick and sent it to the back of the net.  Emmitt Houwer and Quintin Salverda set up the scene.

The only goal in the second was from Caledonia and the score remained even at 1 heading into the third.

Hagersville showed no mercy in the third, letting loose to show Caledonia they were not going down this time.  Less than a minute in Conner Rasberry took control of the puck and put his team up by one with the assist going to Devyn Russell.  A minute later Emmitt Houwer added to the board with the help of Salverda and Gibbons.  Yet another minute later Salverda found himself on a breakaway and made no mistake to give his team a comfortable lead.  Mason Mitchell added another to his side with less than 5 left in the game with the help of Salverda and Salverda scored another less than 2 with the assistance of Rasberry and Mitchell.  Ryan Dewaard made the play of the game when he raced against the clock on a breakaway to find the net and land a shot with just a second left on the clock.  As usual Calvin Eggink was fantastic in net.  Great game Hawks.  Final score 7-1.
