STILL SOARING..........
On November 11th the White Rangers came to town and I'm certain they didn't see this team coming......... or going.  Our Hawks were soaring once again and another fast paced game left the opposition in awe, the first period started out like most of our game of late.  Great passing by both teams early as players take a few minutes to figure out how the other team will attack.

Glanbrook was playing a sneaky game by leaving one or two guys in the neutral zone looking for a fast break but Hagersville played good old dump and chase hockey and the first goal of the game was a direct result of hard work and speed.  Danielle Doolittle got to the net while the speed of Chase and Connor beat the Rangers to the puck, a quick pass, a shot and the rebound was Danielle's to hammer into the net..... 1 - 0 Hawks just over 4 minutes into the first period.  Glanbrook continued the risky game play and got caught skating in the wrong direction as Ryan skated in with and intercepted puck for an unassisted goal.  Fast forward about 1:30 and Kaiden Ellerker powers the puck up ice with strength and determination to find Jack Hill with a nice pass that Jack didn't let go to waste.  Just 5 seconds remaining in the period and Dean Eggink netted his first goal of the game with Danielle and Connor earning their second points on the sheet assisting on the play.

The puck dropped in the second period and only 7 seconds expired before Ryan picked up his second of the game with Sam Heeg getting his name inked onto the sheet and the Hawks had a commanding lead early in the second period.  Midway into the second period Dean took advantage of a big rebound as he directly right between the wickets of the worn down Glanbrook netminder for the 6th Hawks goal and his second of the game.  The second period ended with the Hawks shots on net exactly double at 16 - 8.

The third period saw some smart passing and playmaking from the Hawks but the puck rarely found its way through..... that is until Dean found the back of the net midway into the final period for his 2nd hat trick of the season on another assist to Chase Broker.  Glanbrook seemed to get mad after that seventh goal and turned on the attack, our goaltender calmly turned pucks away to his able defense and held on for the second consecutive shutout and another 2 points in the standings.
