SECOND WIN IN A ROW
Another excellent game and this solid team defense is really starting to shine, great goaltending by Joseph Peirson for his first shutout of the season. This game was all Hawks from start to finish, from the opening faceoff to the last puck drop our centers Noah Michaud and Colin Fess controlled the puck in the circle and our defense made smart plays all game to move the puck into scoring position.
Anytime the puck made it into the Hawks end Joseph Pierson was ready, he didn't let his guard down all game long and when the puck came his way he turned away with confidence. Rylan McIntee was a monster in the offensive end not allowing the Glanbrook forwards a moment to think constantly pressuring the play and was rewarded with a pair of goals, both our first and the last of the game. Colin Fess and Noah Michaud scored the two goals between McIntee's in the 4 - 0 WIN and Noah added an assist to ensure a multi-point night for the speedy center. Additional assists went to Riley Wilson adding 2 points to his total as 1 assist each to Josh Sweika, Kaiden Schraa, Rielley Binek, Nolan Williams, and of course Eliza McNeice. All of the kids are playing excellent positions on the ice, working very hard every shift and always ready to chear for their teammates when they are on bench. Watch out Haldimand Local League this team is just getting up to steam, with a winning attitude, positive support from everyone on the bench and hard work, these kids are unstoppable.
Hopefully we'll see all of the kids at practice this Thursday in Cayuga so we can be ready for the next Glanbrook team coming to town.
