3RD STRAIGHT WIN
The 3rd straight win in our first streak of the season should give the kids the confidence they need to take on the 8-0-0 first place Caledonia team.  We scoring from all over the ice this past weekend as we sent another Rangers team home with their heads hanging low.

Colin Fess, Rielley Binek, Reilly Wilson, Hunter Gallagher, Josh Sweika, and Eliza McNeice all put points on the scoreboard with assists going to Hunter Gallagher, Eliza McNiece, Alexia Hill, Deekyn Bray, Kaiden Schraa, Riley Wilson, Joseph Pierson and Laney Mitchell.  With his teammates putting points on the board it was difficult for Nolan Williams to stay ready between the pipes but he made a few nice saves in the lopsided matchup.  I'm sure they'll need the confidence this Saturday as we try to spoil Caledonia's winning streak and keep our own going.

After the game Adam made some tough decisions in the dressing room as well as he distributed the C and A's to the players, Noah Michaud was named Captain, Nolan Williams actually spoke up and said "I knew Noah would be our Captain" in a complimentary fashion.  Noah shows up to every game with a smile, a winning attitude, and always encourages his teammates.  Next the assistants, Adam made it clear to all the kids that he wished he could put an A on all their Jerseys but that would result in a penalty every game so he had to choose two...and it was certainly a tough decision.  Josh Sweika got one of the A's, always ready to back up his teammates, always positive remarks on the bench and another kid that always shows up with a smile on his face.  Your other Assistant Captain for the season is Colin Fess, all business when he gets his equipment on, sets an excellent example of how to prepare for a game as he is always focused and pays constant attention to his coaches comments before, during and after a game, he also sets a good example of how to celebrate a goal.

Then there is the weakly leader, the kid that gets the game hat and the first with the honor of walking out with the hat was Rylan McIntee, that kid just doesn't know how to give up and is an excellent example of what working hard looks like.  Great job Rylan!  For those of you that were wondering what Rylan had on his head when he left, that Red and Black hard hat goes to the player of the game and it has been autographed by every one of our players.  You would think that Adam was giving out another C by the way the kids on sat on the edge of their seats waiting to hear who got to take it home.  See you all at the rink on Saturday and watch for the happy face wearing the hard hat after the game!
