C Final Win for Legion
The last couple of weeks have certainly been a roller coaster ride but we finished up this weekend with a much deserved win defeating the other Hagersville team 3 - 0.  The kids all played great all weekend long and deserve a big pat on the back for their effort. With 6 GF and only 3 goals against on the weekend the Legion defense proves again that they won't be taken advantage of.

November 15th we faced off against the first place Caledonia 1 team and it seemed as though anything that made it to the net...went in the net ending in an 8 - 2 Loss.

November 22nd bring in another Caledonia team, this may have been a different team but seeing the Caledonia on the jerseys must have re-kindled some fire in these kids as they sent that team home with no doubt that our Legion kids needed some redemption in a 4 - 1 win.

November 23rd we travel to Glanbrook for a hard fought win as this last place team has found some speed to add to their roster, although our defense were somewhat surprised they found a way to contain this new speedster and our forwards put 3 in the net for a 1 goal victory.

November 26th and down goes the roller coaster again, Cayuga is always a tough venue and on this night the Stars came out on top.  Nolan Williams was peppered with shots and fought hard as Cayuga relentlessly crashed our net but we couldn't hang on to the tie as they banged in a rebound with less than 1 second on the clock for a 2 - 1 Cayuga win.

This roller coaster of wins and losses continued into the Murray Johnson Tournament as we defeated Dunnville only to lose a close game to Elmvale putting us behind Dunnville in the tournament standings.  So we faced off against our own CGC team in a battle for school ground bragging rights and the C division final.  Despite some intimidating size up front our kids weren't backing down as they pressured the puck, played smart Defense and kept shooting lanes open for Nolan to clear pucks to the corners and control the rebounds in a convincing victory.

Hopefully we can keep that intensity and desire to win up as we look forward to games coming up on Saturday @ home vs Cayuga at 4pm and then travel to Glanbrook on Sunday for a game at 3pm.

Great work boys and girls!!
