Public Conduct on County Property Policy.
Good afternoon It seems like just yesterday, that the 2018/2019 ice season started, but play-off time is already here for most ice user group.

Past experience has shown that inappropriate behaviours tend to increase at this point in the season, so it is the ideal time to remind/update groups regarding the Public Conduct on County Property Policy.

The Public Conduct on County Property Policy was created to emphasize the commitment required by participants, spectators, community groups, volunteers and staff to provide opportunities for residents and guests to participate in social and recreational activities in a safe and enjoyable environment in Haldimand County.

It is the intention of this policy to identify the unwelcomed and unwanted behaviours that at times occur on County property, define the reporting and follow-up processes, and in turn act as a deterrent for any inappropriate behaviour, violence, indecency and the inappropriate use of technology.

Attached is a copy of the policy and reporting form for your information and reference.  Please share this information with your executive, coaches, participants and parents if applicable.

I hope that the participants within your organization finish the season on a positive note.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
