Bantam Reps Win Art Coombs Memorial Tournament in Paris.
Submitted By Greg Bacher on Sunday, December 1, 2019
The team started the tournament by  battling hard and having to settle for a 2-2 tie with Elmvale. The boys then picked up their pace Saturday morning to beat Ilderton 3-1 and Niagara-on-the-Lake 4-1, advancing them to quarter finals Saturday night versus Paris. The boys battled hard and came out on top in a 3-2 overtime win.

Sunday morning semi-final they faced an all too familiar South Kent squad, the team they faced in their double overtime championship win in the St. George tournament. The boys kept their heads in the game and came out with a 4-2 win. The championship game saw Hagersville versus Delhi - for the sixth time this season.  The Hawks dug deep and battled hard the entire game - coming out on top with a 2-0 victory. A weekend plaqued with injury but nothing that held the squad down.
