REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

HMHA registration will soon be closing as indicated on the banner at the top of the page.  Following registration closing we will be collecting registration fees 2 evenings in Hagersville with location to be determined. 
To guarantee your child's registration and spot on a team you must pay in person on either Monday September 21st or Wednesday September 23rd.  Fees for the season are
U11 (Atom) and above $575, U9 (Novice) and below $525.  For more details on fees and team formation see full article.

There is a slight increase in the registration fee for this season due to significant increase in expense and losses in revenue.  We will not be able to host the annual Murray Johnson Tournament this season due to Covid 19 restrictions, our tournament and fundraising volunteers raise thousands of dollars for HMHA each season that help keep our registration fees down, allow us to save money for emergency use (this season) and offset equipment expenses every season.  Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers over many many years HMHA has the ability to keep registration affordable for all families this season, hopefully next season we will be able to begin rebuilding our "rainy day" fund in case future families need it.

There will be no gate fee this season, HMHA will pay referees, timekeepers and other related expenses, these expenses are generally paid directly out of monies collected at the gate.
To save complication of collecting jerseys and to ensure that our "good" jerseys do not end up at the bottom of hockey bags HMHA will purchase new jerseys for every player for the 2020/21 season.  Jerseys will be assorted colours, will have a number and the Hawks logo.  Jerseys are generally used over several seasons and are by far our largest equipment expense.
Parents must supply your own childs water bottle (to be filled with water only) as well as face masks which are mandatory for participants, bench staff and spectators.


To answer a few quick questions about team formation although most likely already know.

Teams will consist of a maximum of 9 skaters and 1 goalie, they will be selected by HMHA and will play in a "bubble with as many HMHA teams as possible but we will work with neighboring centers (Cayuga, Caledonia, and Dunnville) to form complete bubbles of 5 teams within Haldimand. 

Additional detail on formation of "bubbles" will be posted closer to season start as we are working out exact details with the other Haldimand Teams currently.
