Important information from Haldimand County
Here we are in September and the start of a new season!

We have been asked by our facility staff to request the following be shared with all coaches, trainers, volunteers, etc. and ensure they monitor/enforce this with their players:

Please click "Read More" to read the message

  1. Players are not to enter the ice surface when the ice resurfacer is on the ice or when the doors are open.  They MUST wait until the door is closed before entering the ice surface.
  2. No one should be on the ice when lights are off.
  3. Players should not enter the ice surface until the beginning of their scheduled time.  If the ice is not in use prior to their scheduled time, they are not to access the ice early.
  4. Players should ideally not be on the benches when the ice is being flooded, as there is an issue with them dropping water bottles onto the ice.  If they are on the bench, they should remain seated and not have anything on the ledge that could fall on the ice.
  5. Everyone on the ice, including coaches and volunteers, must be wearing a CSA approved hockey helmet.  Those under 18 must have facial protection on their helmet.
