As the period ended the team had a two goal lead and feeling like they want to do more, so the start of the second period, Carter Hedges jumped over a turn over in th e neutral zone and passed it to AJ Eliott, where his shot rebound off the goalie. There was the hustling Joey Lyons to jump all over the rebound and potted it in the open net to put us up by 3 goals.
With penalties back and forth you just felt it that there will be a PP goal and with time winding down the line of Braddley McCulley, Nolan McNeil, And Dylan Shawana made that happen. There pressure was enough to get the puck to the point for the first PP goal of the year, which came off the stick of Evan Woolvett and assisted from Nolan, and Bradley.
The team Rallied together and around our goalie Amelia Cockcroft that was brought up to fill the net for Dallas Abbott while he recovers. With the pressure she stepped up and kept the team in the lead even when Caledonia score 3 in the third. She slammed the door with save after save. Great Job team.
