Game 2
Submitted By Ryan on Tuesday, October 20, 2015
Godfathers Bantams was playing inspired hockey, the team was cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays. With the coaches and players minds on the score no one had an idea on what was going to happen.

When the puck dropped Cayuga came straight out of the gate.  They took the puck down, fired a shot and scored within the first 9 seconds of the game. This seemed to wake the team up a little.  With the team down Amelia Cockcroft step up as a young leader for this team and shut the door from there on out.  With time running out Cayuga pressure was relentless, but we were up to push back. After the first period the score was 1-0 for the Cayuga.

The Second period was about the same with equal chances. With the back and forth action neither the fans or coaches for both sides was uncomfortable with the play of the teams.  There was no score in the second period so Cayuga was still up.

With the third period about to start the team felt a little inspired and came out with a fiery of shots and chances. With that kind of pressure they get reward. Spencer Martin received a pass from Nolan McNeil and he drove hard to the net and scored  to tie the game. That goal seemed to spark the rest of the team for the rest of the game. With time running out Owen Cripps Jumped on the rebound to put Godfathers Bantams in the lead. That goal didn't seem like it would be enough, So Bradley McCulley went to the corner grabbed the puck look for Nolan McNeil which he turned fired and scored, The time ended which ended up With US 3- and Cayuga 1. Hard fought game on both sides, The next game is Friday in Caledonia.
