Hagersville vs Langton Leafs
The Hawks hosted the Langton Leafs on home ice with goalie Mason Leenders in net. The leafs took no time at all and landed their first goal less than a minute into the game. The Hawks managed to keep the Leafs from the net and ended the first period 1-0 Langton.
The second period started off with a bang for the Hawks as Justin Wenzowski landed and unassisted goal in the net less than minute into the period. There was a lot of back and forth but in the end no one scored and the period ended 1-1.
It was a race to see who would come out on top in the third, as Justin Wezowski, assisted by Zack Demille, nailed one between the pipes allowing the Hawks to take the lead. Less than 20 seconds later Dustin McKeen scored an unassisted goal, opening the lead. With 5 minutes left Dylan Swick came down the ice and scored an unassisted goal and the game would end in a 4-1 win for the Hawks.
Forward Tyler Demille was awarded player of the game.
