Hawks vs Caledonia Thunder
The Hawks were on home ice to take on the Caledonia Thunder, goalie Mason Leeders was in net. The first period started off with a goal by Justin Wenzowski, assisted by Ryan Dykstra and Keaton Garvie. The period ended 1-0 for the Hawks.
The second period started off with a goal by the Thunder. The teams fought to take control and before the second ended Caledonia managed another goal. The period ended 2-1 for Caledonia.
The Hawks needed to pick it up and muffle the Thunder, but it would be Caledonia to score first in the third period. Shortly after Dustin McKeen would land an unassisted goal in the net. But it would be Caledonia that would score next, and the game ended in a 4-2 win for Caledonia.
Defenseman Zack Demille was awarded player of the game.
