OMHA Round Two Game Three
Game three of OMHA round two against Port Dover started and Dover was the team that would dominate the first period. They managed to get two goals in the first ending the period 2-0 for the Pirates.
The second period started, and right from the start it was the Hawks that would dominate. It started with a goal from Keaton Garvie, assisted by Zack Demille and Alex Meyer. It was followed up soon after but a goal from Tyler Demille, assisted by Nate Veldstra and Alex Meyer. With less than three minutes left Keaton Garvie would score the Hawks third goal, assisted by Zack Demille and Dustin McKeen. The period ended 3-2 for the Hawks.
The third period started off with a forth goal for the Hawks scored by Cole Haviland, assisted by Tyler Demille and Dylan Swick. Halfway through the third it was the Pirates that would score closing up the gap. The third period became intense but in the end it was the Hawks who would walk away with the win. The game ended 4-3 for the Hawks.
Defense Ryan Dykstra was awarded player of the game.
