Information for U18 players attending Junior tryouts
Submitted By Dale Held on Fri 09 18, 20
This is important information for any HMHA U18 aged player wishing to attend Junior tryouts.

U18 players wishing to skate with a  Jr hockey club may do so but there are a couple things to keep in mind before leaving your H.M.H.A. bubble.

Once you have left your H M.H.A. bubble for your Jr try out you must provide documentation of a successful negative COVID-19 test before being able to re enter H.M.H.A if released from Jr.

H.M.H.A. will have bubbles formed on September 26th and split all players into tiers and teams a few days later.  Now keep in mind each team will consist of 9 skaters and a goalie with the Tier 1 (Rep) coach being able to leave open a maximum of 2 spots open  for players returning from try outs.  This is only a option for the coach he does not have to leave these spots open.   If the coach chooses to fill his roster the returning players will be dispersed amongst the Tier 2 (AE and LL) teams.

With H.M.H.A. starting hockey October 1 we can not push back selecting our bubbles or teams past the 26th.   All midget players from LL to Rep have to be considered.  With Jr try outs starting middle of October and season starting Dec 1, H.M.H.A. can not wait for players to be signed or released to begin the midget season.
