Two wins in a row!
Hagersville Paul sports LL9 had another playoff game at home against Caledonia 4 on Sunday March 1st.
Our team came out flying and looking for a win. We killed off an early penalty and were able to answer back with a goal when Braeden Heeg scored assisted by Sam Heeg and Gavin Simington. Caledonia scored at the end of the first tying the game up at 1. In the second period our team continued their strong play but Caledonia was able to add another goal. Fighting back like our team always seems to do, Olivia Doughty picked up her own rebound and scored with assists going to Carly Waldbrook and Grace Taylor. To start off the third Carter Skye -Bluhm scored on a pass from Braeden Heeg to give us the lead. The back and forth battle continued and Caledonia scored again to tie the game up. A minute later Gavin Simington scored from Braeden and Grace for the 4-3 lead. We were able to work hard and hold them off for the last 4 minutes including when they pulled the goalie and added an extra attacker in the last 30 seconds. It was a super team effort that ended in another playoff win for Hagersville Paul Sports!! Quite possibly our best game of the year.
