Improving With Every Game
The
Novice Hagersville Hawks LL team started off the New Year by traveling to
Cayuga for one of their few remaining regular season games.
Cayuga came out strong in the first, scoring two within the first 3 minutes of the game, but the score remained this way until Hagersville’s Koen Berkel added one to his side halfway through the second period. Cameron Coffey was strong in net as usual and the rest of the team had a great game showing Cayuga that they have been practicing hard since they last faced them. The score remained 2 – 1 with a lot of great opportunities from both sides, but Cayuga sealed the win with one more goal for their side, with just under 3 minutes left. Hagersville added an extra attacker at the minute mark when Coffey was pulled from net, but they just couldn’t catch a break and Cayuga took the win 3-1. Great game Hawks, you are all improving so much since the first of the season. Keep practicing and working hard and good things will come your way.
