HAWKS come up just short in an exciting finish against Glanbrook
It was a home game on Sunday, January 11th for the Paul's  Sports Novice LL9 team against Glanbrook.

The opening period was fast novice hockey and included some great scoring chances for our team as well as some strong defence.  Olivia Doughty started off the scoring with assists from her line mates Grace Taylor and Carly Waldbrook.  The first was one of our strongest periods of hockey and we held onto the lead until 41 seconds remaining in the first when Glanbrook tied the game up.  Glanbrook scored two times in the second and started off the third with another quick goal.  The Hawks continued to work hard as a team and with less than a minute left in the game Olivia Doughty scored her second goal of the game with assists to Mason Mitchell and Grace Taylor.  Once again our team pulled the goalie for a nail biting finish but we weren't able to score.  The end score was Glanbrook 4, Hagersville 2. This team continues to play hard until the very last whistle and show us that they just never give up.  Great effort team Hawks!
