Hawks vs St George
The Hawks took to the ice to face off against St. George for the first time during the round robin. The Hawks were the first to light up the scoreboard with a goal by Dustin McKeen, assisted by Justin Wenzowski and Keaton Garvie. Shortly after it would be Keaton Garvie assisted by Justin Wenzowski that would score ending the period in a 2-0 lead for the Hawks.
The Hawks would be the first to score in the second period as well, as Troy Clarkson, assisted by Nate Veldstra and Zack Demille, put the puck in the net. Just before the period ended St. George would score their first goal ending the period 3-1 for the Hawks.
The third period would start off strong for the Hawks again with a goal by Dylan Swick, assisted by Cole Haviland. The it would be another by Justin Wenzowski assisted by Keaton Garvie. St. George worked their way up the ice at the 4 minute mark scoring again. But before the period ended it would be Dylan Swick, assisted by Tyler Demille that would score the final goal of the game. The game ended in a 6-3 win by the Hawks.
The line of Tyler Demille, Dylan Swick and Cole Haviland were awarded player of the game.
