Regular Season opener Oct 3rd
The Hawks traveled to Delhi on Tuesday night to begin their season. The kids had been waiting for this game and did not disappoint the fans or coaches. The Hawks controlled most of the game in the first period and kept getting stronger as the game went on. After a few chances Owen buried a rebound to open the scoring late in the first period. Owen added his second early in the second and Aydon followed up with a goal on a good shot after some hard forechecking.
Aiden A put the Hawks up by three late in the second with some good work down low . The Hawks never took their foot off the gas and Reid got the first of four goals in the third period. Daxton had another great game between the pipes making many big saves and the Hawks skated to a 8-1 victory. Great effort given by all the kids and we look forward to our home opener tomorrow night. GO HAWKS GO .
