Hawks home opener Oct 4th
The Hawks were back on the ice Wednesday night in their home home opener when the hosted Norwich. The kids came out skating hard again.. The kids with stood some early pressure by Norwich and Daxton made some big saves when needed . The Hawks came back with some pressure of their own and Dylan banged in his first goal of year with some hard work in front of the net . Landen got the Hawks going early in the second with his first goal of the year with a great effort and better shot in front of the net.
The Hawks speed proved to be too much for Norwich when Owen beat the defence and went in alone on the goalie and made no mistake with a wicked shot.The Hawks kept adding pressure in the third and Owen buried his second and third goals of the game as the Hawks skated to a 5-1 victory. Great start to the season for the kids and thanks to all the fans who came out to cheer us on. GO HAWKS GO .
