Hawks vs Norwich Nov29/17
The Hawks were back on the ice on Wednesday night to face off against Norwich at the Hawks nest. The kids came out quick and skating hard applying lots of pressure in the offensive zone. Aiden opened the scoring late in the first after Ayden did some hard fore checking behind the net and got the puck out front and Aiden was there to jump on the loose puck and beat the goalie. The Hawks added more pressure early in the second and had a few chances but could not get any pucks past the goalie.
Owen added the hawks second goal late in the second period after he made a couple nice moves in the neutral zone and went in alone on the goalie and beat him with a high shot to the glove side. Norwich came out skating hard in the third and got one back early in the period. The Hawks tried hard to get the 2 goal lead back but after Aiden hit the post and some bad bounces Norwich got a late goal after a shot hit a stick and just slid under Daxton to tie the game. The Hawks applied lots of pressure the last minute but were unable to get the lead. Final score 2-2. Thanks to all the fans who came out to cheer us on. GO HAWKS GO
