Congratulations to the Hagersville Novice Hawks on their first seasonal win. Wednesday night the Hawks took on the Stars. It was and excellent back and forth game. The Hawks fans were squawking all game up in the crowd with a few eye covering near the end of the game. The players did not let them down. First goal was a breakout pass from Cody Doolittle to Stephen Reidy, up to Zach Bezemer quick shot and goal. Second goal was setup by Carson Mitchell, to Connor Mendes hard shot and goal. Read More

Hagersville Novice Reps played three fast paced action packed games. Teams we played were Shelburne, Stayner and Powassan. Although the Novice Rep team were not victorious, each and every game they played with courage and skill. Our team is still coming together and the coaching staff was very proud at how they represented Hagersville throughout the weekend. They were all happy with their performance and enjoyed their first tournament.

Hagersville Hawks had another extra effort game against Glanbrook Rangers. The game was back and forth action. With each game we are seeing the kids skill level get taken up another notch. Hawks are starting to provide good goal tending protection, getting rid of the put and protecting our goalie. Rangers were stopped time and time again by goaltender Ryerson Leenders. Defense Lucas, Josh, Kaellum and Cameron were boxing out shooters in front of the net. Forwards are starting to look like a team. Read More

Hagersville Hawks played against Burford Coyotes on Nov 17. The Hawks skated hard all game. Coaching staff is seeing better positioning and stronger shots being made by all players. Hawks goalie Ryerson Leenders saw several good shots. Blocker, glove and pad saves were done with style. Hawks are starting to develop a good breakout play and are working on puck control.

Hagersville Hawks and the Waterford Wildcats played an impressive game. The speed and tempo of the first period of play was exciting for the fans and coaches. We knew this was molding into a top notch game. The Hawks hustled the whole game, excellent fore checking, excellent back checking, multiple shots on net, rebound control and driving to the net. Hawks defense skill level constantly transforming for the better. Coaching staff is very pleased with the effort that was seen throughout the game. Read More
