February 15th Hagersville travelled to Caledonia to play Caledonia 5
in back to back games.
In the first period neither side marked the board, but in the second, Caledonia was able to mark their side three times with some lucky breaks. In Caledonia’s end, it was Hagersville’s Dylan Sherry that put in a terrific shot for his team and gave them some life; the assists on his goal to Drailyn Hill and Mason Leenders. In the third, Caledonia was still out for revenge as they added three more to their side. Nolan McNeil was the lone Hawk to score a beaut in this period assisted again by Hill and Brett Russell. With a 5 on 3 opportunity for Hagersville about to happen at 2 and a half minutes left in the game, the Caledonia rink curfewed the game depleting any chance for Hagersville to possibly pop in a couple more shots and decrease the distance between the score. Give this game to Caledonia for today but next time we’ll be ready.
