The Hawks hosted the Twin Centre Stars tonight. They showed
a good effort during the first two periods, but came up short during the third.
The first goal went to the Stars, but Stephen Reidy was able to put us on the board with a goal scored due to hard work by the entire line to tie the game at 1. The assist went to Quintin Salverda and Ryerson Kett. It was a tight game going into the 3rd with the score of 2-1 for Twin Centres.
The Stars came out firing on all 8 Chevy cylinders (ha ha) for the third period. The Hawks struggled with their positioning and allowed the Stars to light up our net with 5 additional goals.
Maybe we were just saving our energy for the big tournament this weekend!
