OMHA Game 3 vs Burford
he third game of second round OMHA's against Burford was held in Hagersville. The Hawks were down by two games, so they would need a win or tie. The first period would prove tough as Burford came out strong. Burford would see three goals on the board before the end of the first ending the period 3-0 for Burford.
Early in the second period Burford would put a forth goal on the board. But from that point on Burford was not able to get a puck into the net. The period would end 4-0 for Burford.
The Hawks would have to come back strong in the third period to stay in the OMHA's. Half way through the third, Chase Bacher got an unassisted goal putting the Hawks on the board. This seemed to build moral a bit and the Hawks tried hard to catch up. Despite the efforts the third period would end 4-1 for Burford. Burford will be moving on to the quarter finals.
Forward Chase Bacher was awarded player of the game.
