Hawks vs Wildcats
Last Wednesday the Hawks hosted the Waterford Wildcats on home Ice. The Hawks started out strong in the first period. Tyler DeMille, assisted by Ethan Held, got the first goal of the night. Followed less than a minute later by another goal scored by Tyler Demille, assisted by Cole Haviland and Troy Clarkson. And to top it off not a minute later a third goal scored by Cole Haviland, assisted by Tyler Demille and Nate Veldstra.
The Hawks continued to play strong in the second period but we're unable to get one in the net. Half way through the second period Waterford scored their first goal. The period ended 3-1 for Hagersville.
The he thierd period started and soon the Wildcats would have another point on the board, followed soon after by another. With the game tied the Hawks worked hard to take the lead. The clock ran out of time before they could secure another goal. The game ended in a 3-3 tie.
Forward Tyler Demille was awarded player of the game.
