The big C and A goes to......
On
November 4th prior to the Hagersville Hawks Atom Local League 9 game
against Glanbrook 8, in Hagersville, the coaches presented their choices for
Captain and Assistants.
Congratulations to Emmitt Houwer (Captain), Quintin Salverda (Assistant), Emily Watson (Assistant) and Conner Rasberry (Assistant) for this season.
In the first, Quintin Salverda had a hot stick, securing a hat trick within the first 7 minutes of his first game back on the ice. His first goal was assisted by Drew Gibbons and Devyn Russell, his second was assisted by Emmitt Houwer and his third was assisted by Cooper Murphy.
Glanbrook shortened the gap in the second scoring the only goal of this period and the Hawks fought furiously to keep ahead.
In the third the Hawks came out with a determination that they were going to take this game. Just over a minute in there was a scuffle in front of Glanbrook’s goalie and Devyn Russell poked in the puck with the help of Conner Rasberry and Drew Gibbons for his first of the season. Mason Mitchell took control of the puck landing a fantastic goal of his own also in the third assisted by Quintin Salverda and Emmitt Houwer. Calvin Eggink was once again fantastic between the pipes and the team took another win for the season 5-2. Great game Hawks.
