Caledonia 6 - Hawks 2
The kids had another tough match up Sunday evening when they faced the Caledonia IceDogs. Hagersville came out skating hard and got an early 1-0 lead with the line of Emily , Aiden and Ryley doing some hard forechecking which lead to a break way for Emily who beat the goalie with a quick shot. Caledonia came back hard with a couple goals of there own. Hagersville came out hard in the second period but a couple of bounces didn't go our way and Caledonia was able to take advantage .
Hagersville got another goal early in the third on a nice pass by Landen which sent Ayden P in on a breakaway and he made no mistake with a shot between the goalies legs for his first goal of the year. Carter had a good game on defence and battled hard all game fighting for the puck. Also the coaches were happy for Ayden Phillips to get his first goal after a few games of hard work and close calls.. The excitement he showed after the goal was well worth the wait. Good effort was given by all the kids.
