Hawks 1 - Stoney Creek 0
The Hawks had a close tough game on Saturday afternoon against Stoney Creek . This game was our closest and probably our most exciting game of the year so far. Both teams battled hard and the goalies played good keeping it a low scoring affair. Thomas and Tyler did a great job at earning a shout for the hawks.
Neither team was able to score until Reid scored the only goal of the game off a big faceoff win by Kayson mid way thru the third period. Reid picked up the puck and moved around a couple Stoney Creek players before beating the goalie with a shot from the high slot. Tyler made a big save near the end of the game to help the Hawks pick up the win. Great job done by all our defenseman at getting the puck out of our end and keeping it in their end. Thanks to all who came out to cheer us on.
